Happy Monday!
Today I’m enjoying two of my favorite things: thrift shopping and clear glass.
This jar for the cotton balls and the glass and silver tray it sits on were both estate sale finds.
And this little glass q-tip holder started out as a mercury glass candle votive. Note to self: mercury glass coating comes off in the dishwasher.
But mostly I’m enjoying celebrating a 21st birthday with this girl.
21? 21! How did that happen?
I’m playing along with Lisa Leonard’s Happy Monday.
What are you enjoying today?

Your daughter is beautiful. I hope you enjoyed the day with her.
We had a wonderful day, Miss T. It was so nice of her college to schedule Fall Break over her birthday so we could be with her.
Wow, she looks great. Speaking of glass, have you ever been to the Corning center where you get to design and make your own glass objects?
Tony, no, but that sounds FABULOUS!
You seem to score great things at estate sales! Your daughter is gorgeous – I’m sure it’s strange that’s she’s 21. Time does fly!
Very strange and it does fly by so quickly, LH. Makes me grateful for days like yesterday.
Pretty glass containers, Julie! I love finding glass while thrifting. It’s amazing when I’m at the big Goodwill Clearance store (the bins – as we call them!) and there’s a beautiful crystal vase that’s not broken or chipped.
Great photo of your daughter. She’s beautiful!
I bet you feel like just yesterday your daughter was a newborn in your arms! Enjoy your day with her!
