A New Look

The Family CEO has a new look!

Once again, the wonderful Sharon Hujik listened to me and created just what I wanted: a simpler, cleaner design with fresh colors. (If you’re reading this in an email or in a blog reader, be sure to click over and check it out!)

Simple Ideas for Everyday Living

You’ll also notice a new tagline: Simple Ideas for Everyday Living.

Cause that’s what we talk about here.

We’ll still cover all the family finance topics – like paying for college and found money . But I wanted a tagline that also encompassed the lifestyle topics we talk about, like simplifying, cooking, thrifting, decorating, and getting things to grow.

All with a frugal twist, of course.

A Decorating Makeover and Giveaway

And speaking of decorating, on Monday I’ll be back with a makeover post that will include a giveaway. In fact, it’s the biggest giveaway I’ve ever done at The Family CEO.

You don’t want to miss it, so be sure you’re getting new posts either by email or in an RSS reader. And also take a minute to follow The Family CEO on Facebook (there’s a new, different look there too).

Have a wonderful, warm weekend (is it crazy hot where you are too?) and I’ll see you on Monday for the makeover and giveaway.

Yeah, I decided to go into another direction. Just a place where I still do frugal things I just don’t talk about dollars and cents specifically.

Looks great. My site is due for a new design and I need to switch to WP. I’m going to hop over to Sharon’s site to check it out.

Kristia, Sharon helped me with my switch to WP and she did the original site design too. Have fun updating your site!
