I Met my eHow Earnings Goal
Not long ago I shared with you that I had a goal to earn $50 in August from my eHow articles. Today I am happy to announce that I made my goal and then some.
My eHow earnings for August were $59.24. Here is how my earnings have broken down so far:
June (2 articles): $1.49
July (57 articles): $20.02
August (93 articles): $59.24
I had hoped to have 100 articles up by the end of August, but life got busy and that did not happen. Still, I'm pleased with my earnings.
Remember, earnings from eHow are residual earnings. If I made $59 in August from my articles, I have every expectation that I'll earn $59 (probably more) in September from those same articles.
My goal for September is to earn $100 from eHow. I'll report in to let you know how I do.

Very impressive numbers from your ehow articles. 100 articles seems like it would take a tremendous amount of time and effort. Did you stick to one niche or did you write on various topics?
Scott - I don't stick to one niche; I definitely write on a variety. I do find that I'll write articles in "batches" however, around similar topics.
100 does seem daunting but, looking back, it's been a lot of fun. I'm guessing my longest article took me somewhere around 45 minutes to an hour, with most taking 15 minutes or less.
My highest earning article to date took me about 10 minutes to put together. I think it's the eHow writing format that makes it so easy.
