About a year ago I blogged about the documentary, In Debt We Trust. At that time it was only playing in theaters in selected cities. Today I discovered that the entire documentary is available on YouTube. It's in nine parts of about ten minutes each. Here are the links:

What I found particularly interesting was the discussion of the coming housing crisis in Part 5. Considering that the documentary was filmed in 2006, it was right on target.

The payday loan industry is examined as well. I've noticed payday loan places popping up in suburban strip malls around my home like they were Domino's Pizza franchises.
