Easter seems to kick off deviled egg season at our house. I’m not known for much, but I do make a killer deviled egg. The “secret” is Miracle Whip instead of mayonnaise and adding a little bit of sugar. I posted the recipe here.
Here’s another little tip I seem to use every Easter and Christmas: when shopping for basket fillers or stocking stuffers at stores like Target, I separate all of the gift goodies from my other purchases when checking out and ask the clerk to put them all in the same bag. That way when I get home, it’s easier to keep the kids from spoiling their surprise.

Yum! I love deviled eggs and now I’ll have to make some.
Thanks for the tip on the goodies – I’ll have to remember that when the kids are older and rummage through the bags … which no doubt will start happening sooner than I think!
I made your deviled eggs last year and they were such a hit! Thanks for the recipe!
