Maintaining Household Items = Frugal Living

Part of frugal living is maintaining what you own, right? If so, we're living very frugally this week, although it sure doesn't feel frugal:

• washing machine repair: $198.00
• furnace maintenance and humidifier repair: $261.46
• garage door opener maintenance: $84.70

Still, it feels good to me to take care of what we already own. And it feels good to have the cash on hand to do it.
