And the Bloscar Goes To (My Personal Finance Blog Version of the Academy Awards)

Okay, I'm a little late for a theme post tied in with the Oscars, but I'm enjoying so many PF Blogs lately that I decided to give out my own awards:

Most Prolific Blogger - Trent at The Simple Dollar. How does he do it? Multiple posts a day and these aren't two sentence quickies or posts about nothing. These are great posts! Some days I don't even have time to read them so how does he have time to write them?

Most Entertaining Bloggers - Basil and Bianca at The Bizarro World Debt Elimination Freak Show. These two are so funny and engaging that I had to send my sister a link. Now my sister is in no way interested in blogs at all - let alone the PF kind - but we have the same sense of humor and I knew she'd love B&B. I was right; she's a fan! Love these guys.

Most Inspiring Blogger - Meredith at Like Merchant Ships. Lots of families are able to live frugally but Meredith shows us day after day how to live well and how to live beautifully on a small budget. I just adore her blog. Please don't ever stop sharing with us, Meredith.

Most Encouraging Blogger - JLP at All Financial Matters. With his Weekly Roundup and Blog of the Week features, JLP does a great job of highlighting and supporting fellow pf bloggers. And if I was giving an award for best overall site, JLP would get that too. The colors, the layout, the categories, the calculators...it's all good.

Most Goal-Oriented Blogger - NCN at No Credit Needed. First he paid off $11,500 in debt and saved over $21,000 in 22 months. Now he's set a goal of saving 60% of his gross income in 2007. And his wife is still speaking to him. No wonder Oprah and Friends came calling!
