Whenever I spot one of those new or transferred prescription coupons in sales ads, I always tear them out and keep them on hand "just in case."Last week my daughter came down with Strep Throat. After a quick trip to the urgent care center, I dropped her at home and went to Walgreen's to have the prescription filled. I made sure I had my coupon with me and got a $10 Walgreen's gift card for filling the $15 prescription. Not bad.
I used $4 of the gift card on two 12 packs of AA batteries they had for buy one, get one free.
I'm happy to report a healthy daughter this weekend!

Speaking of Rx coupons, there is new site called OPTIMIZERx.com that has nearly every branded prescription offer available on its site. All you have to do is enter the drug name or the disease category and the offers come up. If there isn't an offer for that drug but there is for another drug it that class it will show those offers. And it's free!
